Selfless Ambition

Selfless: Concerned more with the needs and wishes of others than with one’s own; unselfish.

Ambition: A strong desire to do or achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.

Philippians 2:3-4 “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.”

To be selfless is giving all of you in pursuit of the purpose to become more like Christ. To be selfless is to be devoted to the mission of Christ despite where it leads or what it costs. A selfless ambition from a Spiritual perspective is having the heart, mind, body, and soul to accomplish your purpose here on earth.

So what’s my life’s mission and how do I get there?

Leave yourself behind seeking after God with your whole heart daily! Seeking every day through prayer and submission allowing your flesh to become one with the Spirit. This requires letting go of the limitations within the flesh to allow God to accomplish through you what He can only do in the Spirit realm. Humbling oneself in the flesh with the only desire to please Him in the ambition of accomplishing His purpose through you.

A selfless ambition to defy the worlds perception of you through the expectation of selfish gain in exchange for God’s revelation of who you are in Him and what He wants to utilize you to accomplish!

What parts of you are you holding on to that need to be released in order for your to accomplish your life’s purpose?
